Program Description:In 2004, Rev. Lila B. Farmer had a vision of a transitional
home for women. A group of concerned citizens gathered with her to generate
ideas and action. Finally, in 2005, the Helping Hands Home is scheduled
to open.
HHH is a community-based, bed residential facility for women transitioning from local jails and prisons back into the community. It provides temporary housing for up to two years. It is (will be) located in Charlottesville, Virginia, serving Albemarle, Fluvanna areas and surrounding counties. Services/BenefitsProvides one-on-one guidance
